Olive Milling

Anyone wishing to use the mill’s services must book the delivery day and specify the quantity of olives, both via email to: olive@oleaprilis.com.
The booking email must include the following information:

  • Business Name
  • Tax Details
  • Name and telephone number of the person delivering the olives
  • Quantity of olives – Origin – Variety

Following your communication, we will advise you of the date and time for the delivery of the olives.

Those planning continuous harvesting/delivery (i.e. those delivering olives daily or on alternate days, etc.) should contact the mill to agree on the delivery arrangements.

Those wishing to leave their oil on a consignment basis at the Mill must arrange a meeting with management to agree on the terms.

Customers are requested to strictly adhere to the following instructions:

  • Olives which, at the sole discretion of the Mill Manager and/or the operator, are deemed unsuitable for milling (due to infestation, condition, mould, dirt, etc.) will not be milled, and the owner will be invited to collect them.
  • Olives will only be processed in batches with a minimum weight of approximately 3 quintals.
  • Olives must be delivered in crates or in food-grade plastic containers.
  • The charge for milling has been set as follows: €28.00 per quintal of olives for small quantities; for quantities exceeding 5 quintals, a discount schedule is available to be discussed with management.
  • Payment must be made prior to milling, unless different arrangements have been agreed with management.
  • Prices for bottling and/or packaging, as well as for chemical and sensory analyses, are available upon request.
  • Unless otherwise agreed with the Mill, the oil must be collected on the same day it is extracted; therefore, it is essential to present yourself with barrels for a perfectly clean oil, marked with the owner’s details at the time of olive delivery.
  • Should the provided containers prove insufficient to hold the produced oil, the mill will supply them at an additional cost.
  • Such containers, in accordance with safety regulations and internal organisation, must be food-grade and have a maximum capacity of 50 litres and a minimum of 10 litres (otherwise, bottling charges will apply), and they must NOT be made of glass.
  • The produced oil must be collected strictly within the time limits communicated by the operator at the time of olive delivery.
